SSL certicate is the digital security certificate which will be integrated with your website through your web server settings (if you are hosting your website with the web hosting company, this will be their job to either manually do it or via control panel depending on how they manage their server).

It will be best if you are able to host your website with the web hosting company which do provides SSL certification. This is because they will be familiar with the settings on the SSL that they provided and the SSL certification is having a high compatibility over the webserver that they are using to host your website.
